George Best (May 22nd 1946 - 25 November 2005) Among the most naturally gifted players of the last 100 years. For those who might want to doubt this in making any comparisons with the heroes that both pre and post date his era please bear in mind the amount of alcohol he consumed and the advances in things like diet and boot and ball technology there have been in the last 40 years or so. No one trains on booze and steak and chips and more booze for afters these days. George Best was quite witty too, reading his take on going missing as a good example or that on squandering his wealth but for now try this: "Pele said he thought I was the greatest ever player. I have always thought I was the best ever player – that's the way you have to look at it. I have never looked at another player and felt inferior."

Antimicrobial (freshFX) treatment stops the propagation of odour producing bacteria. This is achieved by embedding silver salt crystals into the structure of the fibre. FreshFX treatment like the wicking is permanent and does not leach out with everyday use. These characteristics ensure the shirts remain cool, dry and odour free regardless of what you might do in them. Performance of the fabric is guaranteed through a certified and monitored manufacturing process.
